Position Opening:  Human Resource Manager
Garden City Group, Inc
Dublin OH Office
 
Department:  Human Resources
Reports to: Vice President, Managing Director & Assistant VP of Human Resources
Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday
 
Responsibilities:
·        Manage a growing human resource function analyzing requirements and participating in the development and direction of all disciplines including recruitment, selection and on boarding, performance and compensation management, benefits administration, legal compliance, and training and development.
·        You will be influential in all employee relations efforts working directly with management and staff to promote a culture of value and success providing solid support to management and staff.
·        You will manage critical and comprehensive staffing and background requirements through contractual relationships with employment agencies for temporary hiring and directly with regular hiring.
·        You will be instrumental in coordinating activities and programs to drive workforce engagement.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors of Arts degree and a minimum of five years human resource management experience preferably in a legal environment or equivalent. PHR certification a plus.
  • Excellent judgment and ability to interpret and explain policy throughout a large and diverse employee group.
  • Proven leadership skills enhanced by solid interpersonal communication and respect for the confidentiality built into all human resource efforts.
  • Ability to provide human resource guidance, advice, and services to all staff.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state employment law and regulations.
  • Necessary understanding of the importance of a dual reporting structures both locally and through a corporate office.
  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug test.
